Keynote Speaker -
Dr Kylie Moore - Gilbert

Kylie Moore-Gilbert is the author of the best-selling memoir The Uncaged Sky, which details the 804 days she spent as a political prisoner in Iran.
An expert in Middle East history and politics, in 2018 Kylie travelled to Iran to take part in an academic conference, only to be arrested and convicted of espionage in a shadowy trial presided over by the country’s most notorious judge.
Following her release in 2020 in a prisoner swap deal, Kylie has become a vocal human rights advocate and has campaigned in support of other victims of arbitrary detention around the world. In 2023 she founded The Australian Wrongful and Arbitrary Detention Alliance, which advocates for Australian victims of unjust detention and their families.
Kylie regularly appears in the media as an analyst and commentator, and has featured on programs including Q+A, 7:30, 60 Minutes and BBC Hardtalk. She currently writes a monthly column for The Age and the Sydney Morning Herald.
Charity Partner - Beyond DV

All proceeds of the charity raffle will go to Beyond DV.
Beyond DV is a Brisbane-based charity that was established in 2017 after the Founder's daughter was impacted by domestic violence. Their main focus is on DFV prevention through recovery support and community education.
Beyond DV supports women and children impacted by DFV to rebuild their lives through their world-leading Recovery Pillars Frameworks. They deliver long-term, holistic recovery programs and services across social support, legal support, health support, housing support and financial rebuilding, from hidden locations across Brisbane. They operate from the HOPE Hub at Westfield Carindale - a model currently being expanded to three more Queensland shopping centres - and from Hannah’s Sanctuary, their nine-townhouse transitional housing complex.
Through their “Inspire2Aspire” Survivor Advocate Training Program, Beyond DV supports women who are determined to use their voice of lived experience to drive change.
